Swimming for the first time in Year 5

Swimming for the first time in Year 5  We had a brilliant experience on our first swimming trip at the South Haringey We had a brilliant experience on our first swimming trip at the South Haringey School. We walked sensibly there, and speedily back, to be on time to go home. All the children were excited and the new swimmers were very brave, all in all, a successful trip.

Science – Egg Shell test

Science – Egg Shell test Children looked at egg shells submerged in different liquids and they had to predict which egg shell damaged the most. The egg shells were used to represent teeth. Most children predicted that coke caused the most damage which in fact vinegar caused the most damage. They observed the egg shell over a period of one week and recorded their findings.
